World Classic Open Powerlifting Championship 2023
The IPF World Classic Open Powerlifting Championship in 2023 took place in St. Julian’s, Malta. These international championships were held at the Intercontinental arena between the 11th and the 18th of June 2023. A delegation of 1400 people, consisting of 425 athletes coming from 64 different countries, traveled to the Mediterranean island for these championships which attracted over 16 million televised viewers worldwide. This was aired on Eurosport 1, Olympic channel and IPF channel amongst others.
Madletiks were responsible for the whole process of the event. Starting with the bidding for this prestigious event, sourcing of the venue for such a competition to happen on the island, offering hospitality services like accommodation & transfers and took care of any logistical needs that the international powerlifting association requested. Madletiks ensured that the equipment used for this competition were of the highest standard. During the competition our company, made sure the spectators were in for an entertainment spectacle by offering good quality spectator services like a retail area with competition merchandise, ample screens to ensure the event is being seen from all angles inside the venue. Madleticks also handled the smooth process of accommodating spectators in the venue by creating a ticketing and accreditation system. It did not stop here as all participants were given a participation medal and other merchandise produced by our company.
On the 14th June, half way through the international championships, Madletiks hosted the International Powerlifting Federation general assembly in Malta at the Intercontinental hotel bringing together representatives from 60 different nations. These representatives were happy with our services and agreed to sign a collaboration agreement for the coming years.
