For the second consecutive year, Madletiks Ltd has proudly secured another prestigious international event for Malta, affirming its position as a destination for world-class sporting competitions with significant socio-economic benefits for the local community.
Following the resounding success of the IPF World Classic Open Powerlifting Championships in June 2023, which drew 425 athletes from 64 nations to Malta, Madletiks is poised to host two consecutive international events this year, collectively attracting nearly 4,000 attendees.
From August 28th to September 8th, the Double Tree by Hilton (formerly known as the Dolmen Hotel) will serve as the venue for the IPF World Classic & Equipped Sub Junior & Junior Powerlifting Championship. This event is anticipated to be the largest in IPF history, with over 3,000 delegates expected to attend, including close to 1,000 athletes aged 16 to 23 competing across three disciplines: Squat, Benchpress, and Deadlift.
Subsequently, four days after the conclusion of this championship, Malta will host the Western European Equipped & Classical Powerlifting Championship. Approximately 200 athletes, accompanied by their entourages, will converge at the Double Tree by Hilton to participate in this prestigious event.
Madletiks Ltd is honoured to play a pivotal role in bringing these esteemed competitions to Malta, fostering international sportsmanship and leaving a lasting legacy of athletic excellence in our community.
